The Little Kittens' Nursery Rhymes

The Little Kittens' Nursery Rhymes
photographs by Harry Whittier Frees
Rand McNally Co., 1959

Just because it's Friday, and I can.

"Pussycat, pussycat,
Where have you been?"
"I've been to London
To look at the Queen."
"Pussycat, pussycat,
What did you there?"
"I frightened a little mouse
Under her chair."

This blog is dangerous. I don't even like cats, and I couldn't resist. Thanks for keeping up the great work...

Wow, great blog! I use to collect books and finally had them carted off to thrift stores because I had so many. I love children's books - the illustrations. This is a must visit blog now.

I had this book when I was very little--only it was black and white, not colorized. The original pictures must be over 70 years old.
