I remember the school librarian reading one to us and I just thought it was the greatest thing ever.sarahfburnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16108669587417743339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938617987945183593.post-27854172448851495222008-12-11T18:18:00.000-06:002008-12-11T18:18:00.000-06:00love blueberries for sal, but sadly my boy is scar...love blueberries for sal, but sadly my boy is scared of the bear... hoping he gets over it before he grows out of it!Burgin Streetmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13473712188879858952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938617987945183593.post-84331075062487085802008-12-11T15:45:00.000-06:002008-12-11T15:45:00.000-06:00I loved this book!...and I had totally forgotten a...I loved this book!...and I had totally forgotten about it!...and responding to Anonymous...One Morning in Maine is my number one favorite McCloskey title.Dakotahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391721545999294400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938617987945183593.post-55796775862962164322008-12-10T20:41:00.000-06:002008-12-10T20:41:00.000-06:00Same for me: the Peet bug hasn't bitten, but I th...Same for me: the Peet bug hasn't bitten, but I think it's buzzing around. I noticed a comment where you said you love tips, so here are two of my favorites which I don't see...

Little Brown Bear and his Friends by Upham. She wrote others, this is my favorite and was 40 years ago. At least one later book had a different illustrator, poor imitation.

Blueberries for Sal, McCloskey.
