Great Monday Give: Who's Got the Apple?

Soooooo, in my race to order this book last month, I inevitably ended up with two. I often do this. Bid on something on eBay only to forget about it and then end up buying it somewhere else.... then, a few days later, a "YOU WON" e-mail comes in and, d'oh! Alas, the winner of my over-order will be one of you lucky peeps. That said, for the Great Monday Give, one reader will be walking home with their very own copy of Who's Got the Apple? To be entered to win this awesome and collectable vintage paperback, simply comment on this post between now and Sunday, May 22 at 11:59 PM. A winner will be selected at random and announced the next morning. Like this...

And the winner of last week's give of The Monster at the End of This Book is Sarah! E-mail me your info to webe(at)soon(dot)com and congrats!

Heh. I've bought duplicates of stuff too, without the excuse of forgetting I'd bid on eBay though, ooops! Would love to have this on hand to read to the little one.

I've been eager to read this book to my kids since you posted about it. I just ordered it through inter-library loan, but we'd love to have our own copy. Thanks for the chance!

I haven't tried for one of these in a while. This looks very interesting from an author-illustrator I've never heard of before your posts a few weeks ago.

I have fond memories of this book. I like that the store owner is the one who ends up confused in the end.

I've done the duplicate books - but as gifts. I guess I need to start keeping a record of what books I give to the special little people I love.

Would love to win this book!

Yaaay! I love your blog. You have such an amazing collection of vintage children's books. When you initially posted about this little gem I thought it was one I'd like to add to my collection so I hope I win!

I'm fairly new to your site, but completely addicted already. This looks like a good book for my kids who both love to get their hands inside a book - either by finding things (or lifting flaps or pulling tabs!)

This looks so familiar. Perhaps I'll win and then maybe the happiness of memories from long ago will come rushing back the way they do whenever I stumble across a beloved book from another lifetime ago. Thanks for another sweet giveaway.
