The Great Holiday Give

Halloween is done. Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. Let the holidays begin, my friends. To kick them off right.... I thought I'd go ahead and do my reprint round up. Since all the ho-ho-ho merchandise is up in stores already, I thought, what the hay, right!?! I know some of you would rather give "new" books for the holidays, so I've put together a short list of vintage books newly back in print with a chance to win each day. That's right... five days... five books... five chances to win. THE GREAT HOLIDAY GIVE!!!! Stay tuned shortly for the first give of the week. Happy Thanksgiving... Kwanzaa... Hanukkah.. Christmas... everyone!

Day One: The Day The Cow Sneezed by James Flora

Day Two: One More Acorn by Don and Roy Freeman

Day Three: The Christmas Cookie Sprinkle Snitcher by Robert Kraus and Vip

Day Four: A Long Piece of String by William Wondriska

Day Five: Mud Pies and Other Recipes by Majorie Winslow and Erik Blegvad

Read along on Facebook, tumblr, Twitter and Etsy!

ONE MORE ACORN looks terrific. I used to work in Wash.DC & go to Lafayette Park & feed the squirrels. The were like acrobats in a circus. :)

Oh how wonderful that we get to see this delight. Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention. I'll be buying it for our library collection posthaste, but would love to win a copy for myself. Who wouldn't? Thanks for the Washington good feeling!
