Hi!

I just discovered your site via Alison Morris' blog in Publisher's Weekly.

Great books!

Here are some of my favorite classic picture books--have you heard of them??

Scuttle the Stowaway Mouse by Jean and Nancy Soule

Miss Twiggley's Tree by Dorothea Warren Fox

Present from a Bird by Jay Williams

The Sheep of Lal Bagh by David Mark

Thanks!

Thanks! Sadly, the only one I've reviewed so far is Scuttle... http://www.vintagechildrensbooksmykidloves.com/2007/12/scuttle-stowaway-mouse.html

And I've never seen the Present, so I'll be googling it momentarily. My son loves loves loves LOVES anything with birds! Thanks for the tip.

Gotta love Richard Scarry - the second I see his illustrations, my childhood comes flooding back. His 'Best Word Book Ever' is one of my son's favorite books.
